The Traveler’s “D” can not only set your journey back by a few weeks but can also cost you a trip to the emergency room. And let’s face it, nobody wants to get hit with diarrhea in a country where many of the toilets are squat-only.

Wondering how best to prep my stomach for the trip I came across a stellar piece of advice:

After you arrive at your intended location, go out and eat some of the local yogurt. This will introduce the local “bugs” into your system.

While I’m not a big fan of yogurt I’m definitely no fan of the big D so you can bet your last roll of T.P. that I’ll be hitting the yogurt soon after touch down.
