about

the story of EbT

for years you sat in your cubicle. you sat in traffic on your way home where you spent your evening sitting in front of your television. all the while something buzzed in your brain that there might be another way. until one day, despite the warnings that it’s an unsafe and terror-filled world out there, you finally stood up and ventured out.

away from a corporate sponsored existence and the prescribed blueprint of how things should be done, you went into the jungle. you might get eaten by tigers, they told you, but you went forth anyway. and you won’t go back.

this journal is a collection of travels and thoughts on life lived unconventionally. a life experienced for better or for worse on your own damned terms.

i started this blog as a way to document a three-month hike around Thailand. it’s evolved into something more since then.

EbT is a place to shake off the confines of what is considered prudent and conventional and explore life beyond imposed boundaries. where we can ask questions and learn about ourselves and the things we’re truly passionate about. where we can discuss how to live a life free of restraint. a life we can enjoy. a life that matters.

yes, this blog is ultimately about life.
